Engineer and founder of microsrv — a platform that makes cheap interruptible capacity from major clouds usable for stateful workloads. Stack: KVM/QEMU, eBPF, replicated storage, live-migration orchestration.

Writes about cloud operations, networking, and the TCO of Spot infrastructure. Posts are based on production experience; measurements and methodology are disclosed in each post’s Sources.

Talks

How to improve a cloud-native product with eBPF · RU · 2025

Talk on Knative-based serverless platforms. Why HTTP router + Activator limits platforms to HTTP, and how eBPF enables serverless scale-to-zero for any TCP without per-protocol proxies — SYN intercept in kernel, queue to userspace, autoscale via k8s, relying on TCP SYN retransmission. Demos: iPerf ~20 Gbps, Minecraft (~30 s cold start), VNC — seamless for the client. Separate architecture from microsrv’s eBPF networking (IP/socket preservation during live migration) — see blog posts.
